On Saturday 23rd September, the glamorous ceremony of the awards of the highly acclaimed “Seven Stars Luxury Hospitality and Lifestyle Awards” (SSLHLA), also known as the “Oscars of Luxury”, took place on the unique premises of the Ecali Club.
The SSLHLA awards were hosted for the first time in Greece, at the Ecali Club, renowned for its prestige and its glamour for almost half a century, where a spectacular show was designed to match the exceptional quality of its exclusive thematic events, once again reaffirming its long-standing reputation for high quality services provided over time to its Members and its high quality event organization.
This glittering evening, attended by over 450 guests, began with a reception in their honour, during which international entrepreneurs met with the Ecali Club Members and its Business Community, reassuring that Greece is always a favourite destination.
A seated dinner followed the reception, during which the guests enjoyed the exquisite gastronomy of the Ecali Club,
a gourmet menu prepared by its chefs especially for the evening.
With a television production of international specifications, background sets according to the strict standards of the international organization, audio-visual effects and a stage emerging from its pool, the Ecali Club hosted the Gala of the 5th Anniversary of the SSLHLA Awards. Its panel includes, among others: SSLHLA CEO Nicola El-Mouelhy, Prince Massimiliano della Torre e Tasso, Princess Costanza della Tore e Tasso, Princess Natalie of Hohenzollern, Ece Vahapoglu, Baroness Nerina Keeley, Oliver Jiszda, Manon Han-Bush, Myriam Seferian, Kenelm Janeour,
Jean-Christophe Rousseau, Thanos Liontos, Almir Zejneli, Karine Lackner, Nina Lotsaris, and Veti Nikolopoulou.
The distinctive, ceremony was presented by Turkish Sports Star, the internationally acclaimed Ece Vahapoglu, while the famous Greek singer Nina Lotsari
gave a unique, glamorous performance of international standards accompanied by a five instrument orchestra.
The ceremony begun with the welcome speeches from SSLHLA Chairman and Founder Mr. Khalil El-Mouelhy and CEO of EKALI SA, Mr. John Georgakakis. Both expressed their delight in this collaboration, which was equally supported to the fullest extent possible, ensuring that the 5th anniversary would be the best organized ceremony to date.
High – profile personalities from the international jet set, royalty and the elite of the World Tourism Industry all paraded on the award scene. The winners who participated and who arrived in Greece especially for this evening, came from China, Turkey, the Maldives, the Seychelles, South Africa, Austria, Italy, Thailand, the Fiji islands and many other parts of the world in which Greece was internationally promoted through
the hosting of the SSLHLA Awards.
The Winners of the Award of Excellence, Signum Virtutis were highlighted and the most successful entrepreneurs around the world
in the Hospitality and Lifestyle industry were rewarded.
The Ecali Club was among the evening’s winners, receiving an international seven star rating, with the “Seven Stars Private Members Club Special Award”. The award was received by of EKALI SA CEO, Mr. John Georgakakis, who expressed his joy for this international recognition, the culmination of half a century unique presence of the Ecali Club, the first country club in Greece. These awards were created to reward excellence, a concept synonymous to the values of the Ecali Club, which represents the concepts of eclectic living and eclectic hospitality.
